On April 8, 2016, representatives of Giessen University visited College of Veterinary Medicine. Professor Henry Robin, Ms. Waltz Julia, Director of International Office, and Ms. Cheng Yan, China Affairs Coordinator, visited the College of Veterinary Medicine. Professor Zhang Xichen, Executive Deputy Dean, Professor Lei Liancheng, Associate Dean of Postgraduates, Associate Professor Rao Jiahui, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Professor Song Deguang from the Department of Basic Veterinary Medicine, Professor Li Xiaobing from the Department of Clinical Veterinary Medicine, Professor Wang Xinping, Deputy Director of the Department of Veterinary Public Health, and Global Engagement Office Mr. Bai Yu and Mr. He Jianghai, attended this meeting.

Executive Vice Dean, Professor Zhang Xichen, on behalf of the college, extended a warm welcome to the delegation of Giessen University, and at the same time briefed the delegation on the college’s development history and talent team. Professor Robin Henry introduced the school-running philosophy and international collaborations of the School of Veterinary Medicine in Giessen University. The two sides expressed that they will work together to further strengthen communication and cooperation.
After the symposium, Professor Robin Henry and his entourage visited the Undergraduate Experimental Teaching Center and exchanged the souvenir.
