Speaker profile: Professor Jiang Ping, PhD supervisor, dean of College of Veterinary Medicine, Nanjing Agricultural University , director of the Key Laboratory of Animal Bacteriology of the Ministry of Agriculture. National outstanding talents and innovative team of agricultural scientific research, Jiangsu Province "333" engineering talents (second level). He enjoys the special government allowance of the State Council. Post expert of the National Pig Industry Technology System, member of the National Agricultural GMO Safety Committee; Vice Chairman of the Animal Infectious Diseases Branch of the Chinese Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Society, and the Biological Products Branch. He published 289 papers, including 90 SCI papers, 14 invention patents, 2 national standards, and 6 new veterinary drug registration certificates. As editor-in-chief, he published 9 monographs including "Veterinary Biological Products" (second and third editions) and "Veterinary Guide-Swine Diseases". He has supervised 36 full-time PhD students (3 international students) and 158 postgraduate students. He has won 9 ministerial and provincial science and technology progress awards and 1 national invention patent excellence award.
