Shen Hai-Qing obtained his B.Sc. in Veterinary Medicine from Zhelimu Animal Husbandry College in 1987 and then obtained his M. in TCVM from Veterinary University of PLA in 1990. In 1998, he went to JA Iwate Prefecture South Agricultural Cooperative Association in Japan as a exchange scholar. From 2003-2005, he joined Prof. Wei group in Jilin University and did research on the antiviral mechanism of TCVM, and got PhD in TCVM in 2005. In 2013-2014, he came to Japan Kitasato University as a visiting scholar. Now he teaches and researches on TCVM at Jilin University. He also served as a veterinary expert on the 12316 New Countryside Hotline in Jilin Province, an animal disease treatment expert in Jilin Province, and a veterinary expert in the Jilin Association for Science and Technology. He has participated in more than 10 scientific research projects and published more than 60 academic papers.
