Title:Professor
Specialties:Veterinary Medicine
Email:dengxm@jlu.edu.cn
Deng Xuming obtained his B.Sc. in Veterinary Medicine from Hunan Agricultural University in 1984. He then did his M.S. and Ph.D. in “Veterinary Medicine” from University of Changchun Veterinary Medicine. In recent years, he received Key Program, Project of international cooperation and exchanges and General Program from the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has made breakthroughs in the study of the mechanism of anti-bacteria infection by Traditional Chinese Medicine, as well as the clinical application of TCM for bacteria infection, providing new strategy to fight bacteria infection with TCM.
Research Interests:
· Discovery of new targets and leading compounds against bacterial infection.
· The mechanism of TCM against inflammatory response.
