Lan Yungang obtained her B.Agr. from Xinan University in 2008. He then went to College of Animal Medicine of Jilin University and did his Ph.D. in “veterinary molecular pathology and immunopathology”. In 2014, as a lecturer, he joined Prof. GAO Feng group at Jilin University and did research on pathogenic mechanism, differential diagnosis and vaccine development of animal viral infectious diseases. In 2017, as a postdoctoral fellow, he had worked with Prof. Fenghua Hu in “Cell and molecular Biology” in Weill Institute in Cornell University for two years.
