MO Xiaobing obtained M.Sc. in Biochemistry and Molecular biology from Xiamen University in 2010. He then worked with Prof. Adam Yuan as a research assistant for two years. In 2013, he went to National University of Singapore and did his Ph.D. study in Biochemistry and structural biology. In 2017, as a postdoctoral fellow, he did research on Virology. In 2019, he went back to the College of Veterinary Medicine at Jilin University.
