Jiazhang Qiu obtained his B.Sc. in Veterinary Medicine from Southwest Agricultural University in 2004. In 2007, he went to Jilin University and did his Ph.D. with Prof. Xuming Deng in “Veterinary Phamacology”. In 2012, as a postdoctoral fellow, he joined Prof. Zhaoqing Luo’s Lab at Purdue University, and did research on bacterial pathogenesis. In 2016, he received 1000 Young Talent Plan of China. In 2017, he joined the College of Veterinary Medicine at Jilin University.
