Xiliang Du is a Lecturer of Jilin University. Dr. Du earned his Bachelor's degree from Shanxi Agriculture University in 2013, and received his Ph.D. from Jilin University in 2019. He is member of Chinese Society of Veterinary Internal Medicine. His recent interests include pathological mechanism of ketosis and fatty liver in dairy cows, the role of autophagy/mitophagy in the development of non-alcoholic fatty liver, and exploring of therapeutic targets and drugs for non-alcoholic fatty liver. In recent years, presided 3 projects form the National Natural Science Foundation and China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. Nine papers have been published in important international journals, such as J Dairy Sci, J Cell Physiol, Br J Pharmacol, etc.
