Liu Mingyuan obtained his Ph.D. in Veterinary Medicine from Universite Paris XII Val de Marne in 2004. Now he worked as a professor, doctoral supervisor as well as Dean of College of Veterinary Medicine, Jilin University. He is mainly engaged in research on food-borne parasitic diseases. He has presided over more than 30 projects including the National Key R&D Program, National Outstanding Youth Fund, National Natural Science Foundation of China, key international cooperation projects, etc. He has published 217 papers (85 SCI theses); He was awarded the first prize for technological invention of Jilin Province and 2 second prizes for military scientific progress. He is also an expert for National Natural Science Foundation, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Education for examining and reviewing Funds and Talents Projects.
