Wang Hualei obtained his Ph.D. in Veterinary Medicine from Jilin University in 2010. Now he worked as professor and doctoral supervisor of College of Veterinary Medicine, Jilin University. He is mainly engaged in research on comprehensive prevention and control technology of important animal disease and zoonoses, such as Zika virus disease, rabies, viral enteritis, west nile virus disease and Ebola haemorrhagic fever. He has presided over 11 projects including National Key Research and Development Project, NSFC, etc. He has won 3 first prizes for scientific and technological progress in Jilin Province. In December 2019, he was selected as the seventh batch of outstanding innovative talents in Jilin Province (the second level).
