Prof. Renfu YIN obtained his B.Sc. in Veterinary Medicine from Hunan Agricultural University in 2005. In 2008, he went to Technische Universität München (TUM) and Helmholtz Zentrum Muenchen (HMGU) and did his Ph.D. with Prof Martin Hrabé de Angelis and Dr. Tobias Stoeger in“Biology. He have been worked at the Preventive Veterinary Medicine, College of Veterinary Medicine, Jilin University from 2012.

Research Interests:

His current studies involve the development and evaluation of experimental vaccines against Newcastle disease, avian influenza, goose parvovirus and emerging pathogens such as Zika virus, the analysis of avian virus evolution (such as avian Paramyxovirus, influenza virus, Coronavirus and et al), analysis of NDV pathogenesis and studies on the host innate immune response to viral infection. Meanwhile, studies on new techniques for diagnosis and control of Pet bacterial and fungal infectious diseases are also involved in my research team.
